So, these are Talon's shirts. The holes you see are from his very own teeth. He has digested numerous cotton fibers and can't seem to quit biting holes in his shirts, sweaters, pants, etc. Everything he wears, he bites! I don't want to make a big fuss about it and stress him out (in fact, I am afraid he is taking after his mother already and exhibiting behaviors related to anxiety. Poor guy...already inheriting my crappy attributes). Anyway, it's probably a nervous or comforting habit and my doctor doesn't seem too worried, but I'm wondering if any of you have dealt with something similar. Will it stop? Will he have to attend Biters Anonymous (BA) in the future? Help! We are losing money with each bite!

Wow...a clothing bitter. It drives me nuts when Nali chews on her clothing....she has yet to put holes in anything though. Good luck with that. O and yes, I don't believe that Talon could inherit any of your "crappy attributes" as you like to put it. You ARE an amazing person that I miss immensely.
I am laughing so hard right now. Talon's shirts... DELETED.
I thought about dipping his clothes in Tapatio, but that might be borderline child abuse.
I can't believe he bit all those holes. Sorry I don't have any suggestions.
That is hilarious. I have no suggestions. I have never heard of that. Does he just do it when he is bored or nervous or something or is it just a habit? When I first saw the pictures without reading, I thought you were going to say there was a mouse in the drawer.
Jess-
It's probably a nervous or comforting habit, but I'm not sure. I keep waiting to hear about someone that grew out of it!
I know, it looks like we have a puppy or a mouse or something. We have seriously thought about getting him a chew toy for animals.
BTW-I cannot view your blog since it is private and I don't have your e-mail to let you know. So I hope you check back here so I can view your blog.
Jay, Yeah, I just happened to look back here. So random, I never do that. Anyway, I thought I had sent you guys an invite to view the blog, I must not have the right email. My email is kjehansen@yahoo.com -- let me know what yours is!
Talon says he does it when he is bored. You would think with the bins full of toys, a gamecube, a wii, a bike, and everything a little boy would want he would not have a minute to be bored.
Max used to pinch his neck and didn't even realize he was doing it. He eventually stopped - when we saw him doing it, we would point it out and ask him if he could stop hurting himself. See if that helps and find something to maybe replace it - maybe a soft stress ball he can carry around or a cool bracelet to play w/or something.
