We are having a...

...GIRL!! We have some of the nicest friends ever! Jeff and Diana took us out to yummy sushi and then said, "let's go find out what you are having...our treat." We were planning on waiting for the ultrasound in my doctors office (1 1/2 weeks away). They said they couldn't wait! We went over to the mall to Fetal Studio and the OB who did the ultrasound stayed open late for us. It was the most fun, spontaneous thing! We are still in shock! I asked him to check and make sure there wasn't anything hiding and he said he was 200% sure, three little white lines. He also said she has big lips. Nice, no botox for her. Can they really tell??
Eric's face was so sweet. We were both teary-eyed. Even before we found out if it was a girl or a boy I was starting to cry. Just seeing her little face, bones, spine and movements is so special and amazing. It reminds me what a miracle it is and really bonds me to her. So, to end the evening right, we bought a few bows for her. I can't believe I just bought bows! :)

I am so excited. I can't stop thinking about her. She was the first thought in my mind when I woke up today. I was thinking about how fun it is going to be for Audrey and your little girl to be only a year apart and how they'll be best buds. I can't wait to meet her. I love a good little set of kissers too.

Congratulations! How exciting! The bows are cute too! If you go to our blog I have a couple of links to sites all about little girls hair. Even though I guess it might be awhile before she has enough hair to do stuff with! I added you to our blog list, hope you don't mind!:)

You have SO much to look forward to. Girls bring such sweetness (albeit loud and demanding sweetness in my case). Congratulations! Just for fun, check this out: http://www.chasing-fireflies.com/

How do I get ahold of you - we are going out to UT on Tuesday and since I am pregnant, I won't be skiing. I would love to give you a call and hook up if it works out.:) My email is mimikeyser@yahoo.com - send me your number!

I'm so excited for you! Those bows are so sweet. Your baby girl is going to be beautiful. Can't wait to see her--bows and all. Since we're expecting a boy now and I've been looking for boy things I realize how much harder it is to restrain myself with all the girly things for Isabella than with the baby boy things--way more cute accessories for girls. Good luck with that!

I'm so excited that we are both having girls! When Tami was in town, we went to the outlets in Park City and I couldn't resist buying cute pink clothes, shoes and sundresses! You will have so much fun!

Oh Jay - huge congrats my friend!! You are going to absolutely LOVE being a MOM to a sweet, precious girl. I am soooo excited for you!

On another note, I am so sorry to hear about Eric's dad. It sounds like it happened so quickly. What a guy Eric is to step up and help take care of him. I am sure there were some real bonding moments during that time and wisdom shared from his Father. I am sure that it is tough to see Eric go through that loss but he is blessed to have you help him go through the greiving process.
Love ya!
